Work in a hospital, nursing home, assisted living center, library, school, or in-home care setting? Our animal-assisted therapy team members would love to work with you. We provide a range of services, including meet and greets, 1:1 visits and support, reading and tutor time with dogs, and more.

We’re always looking for new members! Our teams all hold American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen certificates, and are members of Alliance Therapy Dog Association. We'd love to get to know you better, and help you learn more about getting certified.

Steven & Benji
Benji is an entertainer! He loves to swim and fetch, and he never says no to a pup cup. He shares his furry joy at cancer centers, hospitals, libraries, and nursing homes.

Nikki and Winston
Winston

Diane & Buzz
Buzz loves visiting his friends in assisted living and going for car rides. His antics and funny facial expressions always get a laugh.

Kim & Cooper
Kickflip! Coop isn't just a therapy dog - he's a talented skateboarder too. He can be found belly flopping for pets at Beacon-Kalamazoo Hospital and cancer center, libraries, and assisted living centers.

Les & Guinness
Guinness makes a bad day good, and a good day great! He will fetch just about anything fetchable. He has worked just about everywhere, from the cancer center to festivals.

Erin, Gus, & Gertie
Half siblings Gus and Gertie love snacking on watermelon and going for walks. They spend a lot of time spreading joy at Plainwell Middle School.

Laura & Lacey
Racey Lacey is a big fan of zooming through her agility course and snacking on frozen peas. She has visited nursing homes, senior centers, daycare centers, libraries, and hospitals.

Marlise & Harlee
Harlee loves looking out the window and snuggling up to watch football games. She has visited senior centers, libraries, and a pediatric outpatient facility.

Rubber ducky, you're the one for Mya! Sweet puppy girl loves her duck and watches TV like a hooman. She visits a wide range of different locations.

This farm dog loves watching over his flock of chickens. He has a big heart and has shared his love at hospitals, libraries, assisted living, community events

Lisa & Pippa
Pippa has a silly personality that brings happiness to all she encounters. She is very fond of her toy meerkat and all of the food. She visits any type of location looking for a furry friend.

Greg & Reggie
Reggie is a crack-up - especially when chasing the water coming out of the sprinkler. He visits libraries, schools, and assisted living facilities.

Keith & Gemma
Full name Sandbears Anchorbay's True Gem BN RN TDN THD CGCA, Gemma can be absolutely regal! She loves visiting any types of locations.

Linda & Snickers
Snicker doodle loves blue toys in particular and tilts his head just so when handler Linda tells him something. Snickers works anywhere and is even a ski patrol therapy dog.

Stay tuned for new teams.
Each team undergoes at least 12 weeks of training, learning to enter a large range of environments and settings to deliver emotional and motivational support to all individuals. Each team member holds an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen certificate, and is a member of Alliance Therapy Dog Association. Handlers are trained to become knowledgeable of their dog’s body language, stress indicators, and the environment around them.
